good-bye to summer

Tomorrow Team Winchell returns to school.

Orilus and Jackson have their first day in 5th and 4th grades, a half day (which I think is a lovely way to ease back into a school routine).

Jason is back to work tomorrow, teaching math.

And I go back to the Language Support Office (though I officially started last week). Also, on Wednesday, my two-night-a-week doctoral class schedule starts.

Needless to say, I've spent the weekend preparing for our new season...making 6 pounds of meatballs to freeze for future meals, ironing, laundry, back-to-school shopping, unpacking a few more boxes...and a really great time playing football on Nahant Beach with the boys and my mom.
